Rebecca Olsen

Rebecca Olsen began studying with Dana Mae Gayner in February 2005. A graduate of Kingsway High School in 2011, Rebecca sang in the Senior Choir and Gospel Choir. From 2006-2011, she sang with the All South Jersey Chorus, and was a section leader 2008 and a soloist in 2007. She started singing in Sisterhood under the direction of Dana Mae Gayner in 2008.

Rebecca has participated in numerous musicals at Kingsway High School and in the community. She appeared as Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Nellie in South Pacific, Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Mayzie in Seussical the Musical, and Rosa in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She has studied Irish step, tap, ballet, musical theater, and lyrical dance with the South Jersey Ballet Company, appearing in The Nutcracker 3 times, The Professional School, and The Dance Factory.

Rebecca was president of Tri-M, the music honor society, a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the National Art Honor Society. She was Kingsway High School's “Senior of the Month” in April 2011. Rebecca will graduate with honors from Elizabethtown College in 2015 with a B.M. in music therapy.
